Description

As a Department Head in warehouse logistics, you will be responsible for the operational management of your department and the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team. Together with your team leaders, you ensure smooth processes in your area. You will have the unique opportunity to help build our new logistics center in Gießen from the ground up, contributing your own ideas and expertise. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect, and openness. You will work with your team to achieve daily operational goals and improve processes, using our leadership principles as a compass in daily business.

Requirements

  • Completed degree or comparable education
  • Several years of experience in logistics, ideally in a disciplinary leadership position with more than 20 employees
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate the team
  • Expertise in logistics processes, labor law, and works constitution act
  • Use of operational KPIs as a control tool, identification of unused potential, and solid knowledge of occupational health and safety
  • German at C2 level and English at B2 level
