Description
This role offers the chance to work in the dynamic environment of the online travel business, directly under the guidance of experienced leaders. You will learn strategic thinking, future-oriented leadership, and sustainable action while working closely with the IT Director and other IT decision-makers. You will engage in a variety of projects related to IT infrastructure and applications in the travel sector, and build a valuable network within the CHECK24 Group. The position is a (Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Travel CTO Taskforce at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Hotel GmbH.
Requirements
- Excellent degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Golang, Java, PHP, C#, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Linux/DevOps
- High willingness to learn and motivation to constantly learn and use new technologies and programming languages
- Strong analytical skills and high problem-solving competence
- First experience with declarative AI (e.g., Copilot, Cursor AI, or Jetbrains Junie) in the development process
- High self-motivation and discipline
- Strong communication skills and a good sense for people to develop optimal technical solutions in cooperation with the respective departments
- Fluent German and English skills
