Description

This role offers the chance to work in the dynamic environment of the online travel business, directly under the guidance of experienced leaders. You will learn strategic thinking, future-oriented leadership, and sustainable action while working closely with the IT Director and other IT decision-makers. You will engage in a variety of projects related to IT infrastructure and applications in the travel sector, and build a valuable network within the CHECK24 Group. The position is a (Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Travel CTO Taskforce at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Hotel GmbH.

Requirements

  • Excellent degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Golang, Java, PHP, C#, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Linux/DevOps
  • High willingness to learn and motivation to constantly learn and use new technologies and programming languages
  • Strong analytical skills and high problem-solving competence
  • First experience with declarative AI (e.g., Copilot, Cursor AI, or Jetbrains Junie) in the development process
  • High self-motivation and discipline
  • Strong communication skills and a good sense for people to develop optimal technical solutions in cooperation with the respective departments
  • Fluent German and English skills
