Description

Join CHECK24, a market leader and dynamic startup, to develop and operate productive systems. As a Junior Software Developer, you will work in agile teams with flat hierarchies, using modern tools and AI technologies to drive data-driven innovations. You will be part of the CHECK24 Steuer team in Dortmund, building a new FinTech product to simplify tax filing in Germany. This role involves end-to-end development, clean software engineering practices, and collaboration with product management and experienced developers.

Requirements

  • Very successfully completed degree in IT or very successfully completed training as an IT specialist for application development
  • Ideally practical experience through own projects, GitHub contributions, side hustles, or intensive coding practice
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Understanding of clean, maintainable code and basic software engineering principles
  • Initiative and ownership: questioning things, implementing, and wanting to see software go live
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1)
