Description

T-Systems' Cloud Services unit is hiring an Expert Architect for the backend of T Cloud Public, Europe's leading OpenStack-based public cloud platform built on open-source software and DevSecOps principles. You will improve the platform architecture with a focus on IT security, design and develop innovative platform and software-as-a-service features, act as a trusted advisor on OpenStack-based public cloud technology, and automate with common frameworks. At least 5 years of professional IT experience with modern cloud technologies is required, along with strong Linux and infrastructure automation skills.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training
  • 5 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
  • Very good knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures
  • Experience in infrastructure automation
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network-related services
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Knowledge of agile development processes
  • Mentoring and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess technical solutions and propose creative approaches
  • Fluency in written and spoken English or German
  • Ability to work within the European Union to meet clients' data security and privacy requirements
