Description

NavVis is a global leader in reality capture and digital factory solutions, bridging the physical and digital worlds with photorealistic digital twins. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will join the NavVis Mobile Team to shape the future of NavVis IVION Go, a mobile app that lets users explore rich digital data around them. You will leverage digital twins from NavVis VLX/MLX devices and visual positioning technology to create spatially aware user experiences for manufacturing clients. The role involves co-owning the Android codebase, driving architectural decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. If you are passionate about clean code, modern Android toolchains, and building innovative mobile experiences, this is the opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Android development experience with strong architectural decision-making skills across Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose, Jetpack libraries (Room, Lifecycle, ViewModel), Retrofit, and Koin.
  • Solid computer science fundamentals β€” data structures, algorithms, and design patterns applied in real-world production contexts.
  • Quality-driven development mindset, including TDD/BDD practices, mobile testing (JUnit, Espresso), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins).
  • Full SDLC ownership β€” from requirements and architecture through code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Agentic AI coding proficiency β€” goes beyond AI-assisted writing to shape team-wide workflows, curate context, and optimize for token efficiency.
