Description

We are seeking a highly technical and practical leader to join our engineering team in Berlin. This role combines hands-on engineering with people management, leading a team of four engineers focused on quality, reliability, and test development. You will serve as the technical authority for product development risks, champion hardware reliability through methods like HALT and HASS, and own the certification strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, excels at root-cause analysis, and can communicate effectively across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. Requirements

  • Strong hands-on engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related discipline) with extensive on-the-bench experience
  • Proven experience implementing HALT/HASS testing and translating stress-testing data into actual product design improvements
  • Exceptional skills in engineering investigation and root-cause analysis, with the ability to guide a team through complex technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to understand and speak the language of mechanical, electrical, and software test engineers seamlessly
  • Experience leading small teams of engineers with a collaborative, supportive style that balances strict quality standards with product delivery timelines
