Description

As an Occupational First Aider at Zalando, you will provide first aid measures in case of accidents and acute illnesses, protecting employees at our new logistics site in Gießen. You will work closely with the Safety Team to strengthen health protection and drive it forward through dialogue with employees. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect, and openness. You will be part of the core team launching a new highly automated warehouse, taking direct influence on its success. This role involves advanced first aid, documentation, and collaboration with company physicians.

Requirements

  • Experience in emergency services or a medical background
  • Completed training as a paramedic (Rettungssanitäter, Rettungsassistent, or Notfallsanitäter) and further training as an occupational first aider (Betriebssanitäter)
  • Full responsibility for tasks and ensuring health protection at the site
  • Ability to independently identify challenges and proactively develop ideas to strengthen health offerings
  • Quickly learn new software, apps, and web tools; willingness to deepen knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Strong communication skills to convey expertise clearly and adapt to colleagues' knowledge levels
  • Good German and solid English skills in writing and speaking
  • Enjoy working with people and care about colleagues' health and well-being
