Description

Ashby is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Europe. This role is for someone who excels at both design and coding, and who can combine these skills to create exceptional user experiences. You will work on our most challenging design problems, enhance our in-house design system, and consult on bespoke design work for Product Engineers. You'll have the opportunity to shape the UI and UX of a powerful and complex product used by over 100,000 weekly active users, including notable customers like Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. We are looking for someone with excellent taste in visual design and strong technical skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of continuous experience as an Engineer or Designer
  • Good proficiency in both Design and Engineering, with exceptional proficiency in the discipline you practice full-time
  • Experience designing products and shipping code to hundreds of users (even through side projects)
  • Excellent taste and execution in visual design
  • Good proficiency with TypeScript, React, and CSS
