Talon.One is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Tribe in Berlin. The Infrastructure team focuses on cloud architecture, Kubernetes, networking, Terraform, CI/CD, and GitOps to build scalable, reliable, and secure systems. The role involves collaborating with infrastructure, platform, and product engineers to evolve systems, automate operations, and simplify cloud complexity. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, deep knowledge of CI/CD and Kubernetes, and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering role, with a strong record of building and maintaining production systems at scale.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience improving automation, reliability, and developer workflows, ideally using tools like ArgoCD or similar GitOps-based deployment systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including best practices for observability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Solid experience with cloud providers (preferably GCP) and a sound grasp of cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with parts of our stack: Bash, Golang, PostgreSQL, and Git.
  • Experience with Datadog or Prometheus for monitoring and metrics.
  • High levels of ownership and autonomy, you execute independently, make pragmatic decisions, and follow through with consistency and care.
  • A genuine interest in mentoring others, sharing context, and raising the technical bar of the team through collaboration and knowledge transfer.
