Description

AWS is launching the first European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) and is seeking support engineers for this initiative. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will act as a 'Cloud Ambassador,' helping customers utilize AWS cloud products effectively. You will solve customer cases via phone, email, and live chat, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques. This role also involves coaching new hires, developing training, and working with leadership on process improvements. The position requires fluency in German and English, EU nationality, and flexibility for rotational shifts including occasional weekends.

Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Must be a national of an EU member state
  • Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting, or strong analytical skills with effective communication and network management/troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field OR equivalent 6+ months experience in a technical position
