Description

Orbem uses AI to industrialize MRI, providing non-invasive insights into biological matter from fruits to eggs to the human body. The company is headquartered in Munich, Germany, with an office in Houston, Texas, and aims to transform the world's largest biological dataset into actionable intelligence to reduce waste and improve sustainability. As Senior Director of Product, you will own the entire product function, including Product Management, Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Quality Management & Compliance. You will be responsible for delivering products end-to-end at industrial scale, building a systemic capability to scale breakthrough technologies into global products. This role requires strategic leadership, organizational building, and a strong customer focus to drive product success across multiple market segments.

Requirements

  • Shipped physical products in industrial environments at mass scale
  • Lived the 50β†’500 person scaling journey at a deep tech company
  • Engineering background and built or led at least two of Product Management, Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Product Quality functions
  • Customer-anchored with ability to translate customer insights into specs
  • Extreme ownership and accountability for product outcomes
  • Led product architecture shifts to hardware platform products
  • 15+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years building organizations and shipping products
  • Strong communication skills to convey product strategy across the company
