Description

EC2 Core Compute owns the AWS Nitro System and general purpose EC2 instance families. The Nitro System is a purpose-built platform of dedicated hardware, a lightweight hypervisor, and a hardware root of trust that powers every modern EC2 instance, offloading virtualization, networking, storage, and security functions to dedicated Nitro Cards and a Nitro Security Chip. The organization also owns the C, M, R, X, Flex, and T instance families, which serve the broadest range of AWS customer workloads across millions of servers and Intel, AMD, and AWS Graviton processor architectures. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead programs that shape the reliability, performance, security, and economics of this foundational infrastructure. This role involves creating scope in ambiguous problem spaces, influencing engineering and business decisions at the senior leadership level, and driving cross-organizational alignment across multiple engineering teams. The position is based in Berlin, one of Amazon's largest engineering hubs in Europe.
