Description
Requirements
- Several years of experience in AI enablement, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, IT strategy, governance, or a comparable role, with a proven track record of introducing new technologies like AI, automation, or data-driven solutions in companies.
- Ability to lead a small international and interdisciplinary team, providing structure, prioritization, and orientation across technical and business-oriented work streams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring together perspectives from business, technology, legal, security, and data protection – from management to operational implementation teams.
- Practical confidence in using modern generative AI tools and assistants, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, and their meaningful use in a corporate context.
- Good understanding of enterprise AI architectures and deployment models, including cloud-based LLM services vs. self-hosted open-weight models, RAG and knowledge base systems, AI agents, and workflow automation, as well as their respective impacts on data protection, security, and costs.
- Familiarity with AI governance and regulatory topics such as the EU AI Act and GDPR, including AI-specific risks like data leakage, shadow AI, and hallucinations. Close collaboration with experts from legal, security, and data protection is expected; deep practical expertise in all areas is not required.
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into practical guidelines, decision frameworks, policies, and operating models.
- Experience in driving technology adoption and organizational change, for example through training, internal communication, and enablement measures.
- Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance innovation, risk, usability, and compliance, and to distinguish relevant from irrelevant in the fast-paced AI ecosystem.
- Negotiation-level English and German, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
