Partner Account Manager (Internal) – Germany
Description
Hornetsecurity is seeking a Partner Account Manager to join their internal sales team in Berlin or Hanover. The role focuses on acquiring new sales partners in Germany and developing existing partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in IT or technical sales, with a strong understanding of complex IT solutions and business contexts. This position involves planning and conducting online and in-person training, representing the company at trade fairs, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, degree, or equivalent qualification with solid IT knowledge, ideally in IT security or cloud services.
- At least five years of professional experience in IT or technical sales.
- Experience working with sales partners in the DACH region and successfully developing partnerships strategically and economically.
- Strong communication skills and confident, professional demeanor with partners and customers.
- Enjoyment in presenting and negotiating with customers and partners (by phone or via Microsoft Teams).
- Open and winning personality, enjoys working in an international team.
- Sets ambitious goals, works independently, and pursues quarterly targets with commitment.
- Works in a structured manner, maintains overview in a dynamic environment, and prioritizes with a focus on shared success.
