Description

Keyrock is a leading digital asset market maker and liquidity provider, operating across more than 80 exchanges. We are seeking a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience and strong AWS knowledge to join our core Capital Markets division. In this role, you will take ownership of high-impact trading infrastructure, set technical direction, and drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and operability. You will collaborate with a global, fully-remote team and contribute to the design and operation of mission-critical trading systems. The role is open to candidates in European time zones.

Requirements

  • Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems; proficiency with Tokio is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading, or similar), with solid understanding of execution, market data, and operational risk
  • Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including cloud infrastructure trade-offs for latency-sensitive workloads, shell scripting, debugging, and production troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for strategy development, automation, and operational tooling
  • Deep familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket), exchange connectivity, and market data feeds
  • Solid grasp of low-latency networking: TCP/UDP, packet and latency path analysis, dedicated network infrastructure, and kernel bypass techniques (DPDK)
  • Familiarity with agentic engineering tools and concepts: LLMs, MCP APIs, AI-First IDEs (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code), harness engineering, and workflow automation
  • Ability to make sound architectural decisions, articulate trade-offs clearly, and guide implementation across complex systems
