Finance Manager – Germany
Description
Hornetsecurity is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their international team at their headquarters in Hannover, Germany. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and international accounting standards, managing payment transactions and liquidity planning, and developing management reports, dashboards, and KPI systems. The successful candidate will also plan and monitor forecasts and budgets, drive the digitalization of finance processes, and collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and banks. This is a full-time position offering a dynamic international environment with flexible working options and various benefits.
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in finance, accounting, or controlling, or comparable commercial training with further education
- At least five years of professional experience in finance and accounting or controlling of an international company
- Experience with annual financial statements, forecasts, and budget planning
- Strong IT affinity and proficiency with common ERP and accounting systems such as DATEV, NetSuite, or Microsoft 365
- Structured, analytical, and careful working style with a strong understanding of business contexts
- Proactive approach, responsibility-taking, and efficient problem-solving
- Confident communication in German and English
- Team player who enjoys working with colleagues and external partners
