Junior Process Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Description
Hornetsecurity is a global provider of cloud-based email security, compliance, backup and security awareness solutions for Microsoft 365. For its Hannover or Berlin sites the company is hiring a junior process automation engineer to work full time on smart automation solutions for its customer experience departments. Working in a small, flexible development team you will spot automation and optimisation potential in CX processes and build the technical solutions for them, with a particular focus on user-friendly frontends. You will own the frontend of the internal automation platform and keep developing it through code reviews, best practices and modernisation of existing applications and tech stacks. The role also involves improving interfaces and processes with various business departments and gives room to try out new technologies.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable subject, or an IT apprenticeship focused on application development
- First practical experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular, Vue.js or React
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and the command line
- Experience with version control, in particular Git
- Enjoys solving technical challenges and works carefully and solution-oriented
- Willingness to keep learning and developing your technical skills
- Confident communication in German and English
