Description

Zalando is looking for an IT Technician for its logistics centre in Lahr, where the role is the first on-site contact for maintaining and troubleshooting the local IT infrastructure. The position is explicitly on-site rather than remote and provides 1st and 2nd level support across a complex IT landscape including Windows, Linux, Android and Apple end devices as well as network and server areas. The technician helps ensure the stability and availability of the systems that keep the logistics operation running and contributes to shaping the site's IT structures. Work happens in interdisciplinary teams on a two-shift model from Monday to Friday under a permanent contract. Ideas for improving support procedures, documentation and knowledge transfer are expected from the role.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT, for example as a system administrator, network administrator, IT specialist or IT administrator
  • Full ownership of your tasks and proactive ideas to improve support procedures, documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Team player willing to work in interdisciplinary teams on a two-shift system
  • Good written and spoken German (at least C1) and English
