Description

Amazon Music is hiring a Data Scientist to measure and optimise its global marketing activities. Working with a rich marketing dataset alongside marketing managers, you will build and own causal and predictive models that quantify how marketing and lifecycle programmes affect customer retention, engagement and subscriber growth. The role involves analysing large customer datasets with SQL and Python or R, assessing randomised controlled trials, and running cohort and causal inference analyses. You will also partner with product managers and engineers to bring AI and machine learning into the team's self-service analytics tools, and present findings to both technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Data Scientist.
  • Experience with data scripting languages such as SQL, Python or R, or statistical/mathematical software such as R, SAS or Matlab.
  • Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling data analysis tools and techniques, and the parameters that affect their performance.
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
