Description

justDice, a Hamburg-based developer of mobile gaming loyalty programmes within the applike group, is hiring a Go backend developer. The role is about building robust, scalable microservices in Go and planning and maintaining backend architectures on AWS with Kubernetes and Elasticsearch. It includes ensuring quality through unit and integration testing, optimising existing systems for performance and scalability, and working in agile teams to analyse and implement product requirements. Candidates need at least 2-3 years of Golang experience, strong AWS knowledge (ECS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch), Terraform and Terragrunt skills, and fluent English. The company works hybrid with three core office days in Hamburg.

Requirements

  • Extensive software development experience with Golang, at least 2-3 years
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, mainly ECS, DynamoDB and CloudWatch
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work well in a team
  • Fluent English
