Description

Amazon is hiring a Robotics Deployment Project Manager to deliver large-scale, complex logistics automation and storage initiatives for its expanding European fulfilment network. The role oversees all aspects of an Amazon warehouse while focusing on its automation technologies and storage solutions, evaluating and delivering material handling systems and robotic innovations. It coordinates internal teams and external contractors to launch new automated buildings and run expansions at existing sites on time and to Amazon quality standards. The project manager troubleshoots complex deployments, drives continuous improvement of deployment processes and works with product, safety, quality and vendor teams across the project lifecycle. Around 50 percent travel is expected, mainly within the country and occasionally elsewhere in the EU.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent STEM field
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication
  • Written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience managing competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in project or program delivery or deployment execution
  • Knowledge of automation technologies, material handling systems and/or robotics
  • Experience authoring technical documentation, particularly detailed user-focused work instructions or standard operating procedures for field execution
