Description

n8n is looking for its first dedicated pricing hire to turn pricing and packaging into a deliberate, data-informed growth lever across its community, self-serve and Enterprise motions. The role owns the analytical foundation for pricing, including unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin and competitive intelligence, and runs pricing experiments end to end. It also designs plan and packaging architecture for new SKUs and consumption-based models, and builds frameworks and decision tools that product teams can use independently. The person leads cross-functional pricing decisions with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps and Data, and owns the rollout of major pricing changes from decision to measured impact. It is a high-scope individual contributor position in a remote-first European team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in pricing, monetisation or commercial strategy in B2B SaaS
  • Led at least one full major pricing model transition, such as subscription to consumption or seat-based to usage-based
  • Personally designed and rolled out consumption-based, outcome-based or AI-native pricing at a company past $100M ARR
  • Owned pricing for both self-serve/PLG and Enterprise sales-led motions
  • Deep analytical rigour: builds the financial model personally and reasons about unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, willingness-to-pay and elasticity
  • Billing fluency across event metering, rating, entitlements, proration, overage and revenue recognition, with experience partnering with a Billing function
  • Empathy for technical users and buyers and how developers assign value in a product
  • Track record of building packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use independently
  • Cross-functional influence across Product, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering and Billing
  • Motivated by owning a global, high-stakes topic as an individual contributor rather than by headcount
