Associate General Counsel, Civil Litigation

Meta is seeking an experienced litigator as Associate General Counsel, Civil Litigation, to lead a broad docket of complex civil disputes with a focus on privacy and GDPR matters in collective redress, class and representative actions, and cross-border litigation. The counsel develops and executes litigation strategy across German courts and international forums, manages outside counsel and budgets, and advises internal stakeholders on litigation risk. The role also covers pre-litigation dispute resolution, interim relief and injunctions, settlement strategy and monitoring developments in German and EU civil procedure. Candidates must be qualified to practise law in Germany with around 8 years of post-qualification civil litigation experience and be fluent in German and English.
