Description

SoundCloud is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join its Mobile Core User Experience team, delivering seamless experiences across iOS, Apple Watch, and CarPlay for millions of users. You will develop and maintain SoundCloud's Apple-platform apps, build and optimise UI components with SwiftUI with a focus on performance and accessibility, and collaborate with product, design, backend, and analytics teams. The role includes supporting A/B testing, participating in architecture decisions and code reviews, and improving large existing codebases including Objective-C refactoring. It requires 5+ years of professional iOS development with Swift, including SwiftUI and Swift concurrency, and can be based in Berlin.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building iOS applications using Swift
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SwiftUI, and Swift concurrency
  • Comfortable working in and improving large, existing codebases, including refactoring Objective-C
  • Skilled at working in cross-functional teams and breaking down complex problems
  • Thrives in a collaborative, agile environment while also able to work independently
