Description

FINN, Germany's leading car-subscription platform, is hiring a Lead Group Controller in Munich to sit at the intersection of Group Accounting, Business Controlling/FP&A, and external stakeholder reporting. The role owns Group Management Reporting under HGB and IFRS, deep-diving into P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow performance to explain variances against plan for leadership, the board, shareholders, and banks. It also drives process and system improvements, such as provisioning workflows and SAP-based cost-center reporting, and builds and leads a small, high-performing Group Controlling team. Candidates need 5+ years of Finance/Controlling experience, ideally from a scale-up, tech company, or Big 4 background, and fluent English.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance/Controlling, ideally within a fast-paced scale-up, tech company, top-tier consulting firm, or Big 4 environment
  • Strong university degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical acumen, high attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to complex financial topics
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a strong advantage
