
Compliance and Prevention Associate (Complaints Management)
Description
N26 is looking for a Compliance & Prevention Associate to join its Complaints Management & Prevention team, reporting to the Complaints Compliance & Prevention Manager. The associate acts as the operational engine executing regulatory remediation deliverables, conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analyses, and performing data population reconciliations. The role enforces compliance checks on complaint-handling output across markets with a focus on Germany. It also drafts and updates Written Orders, work instructions, and process maps, and compiles Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness audit evidence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in compliance controls, assurance, banking operations, or complaints management in the German financial space
- Full working proficiency in German
- Practical understanding of the complaint lifecycle under BaFin MaBeschwer, PSD2, and MaComp standards
- Solid working experience with case management and data analysis
- Strong ability to conduct root cause investigations and trace data discrepancies across multi-system environments
- Ability to produce clear, structured process documentation
- Fluent English
