Description

A three-year apprenticeship (Ausbildung) starting 1 August 2027 to become an IT Specialist for System Integration at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a Frankfurt am Main data centre. Apprentices help keep the IT systems behind AWS's global cloud infrastructure running by analysing network problems, administering servers and configuring systems. Theory is taught at vocational school while practical skills are gained directly in the data centre, covering network technology, server administration and IT security. Trainees work with experienced IT specialists, support the roll-out of new systems and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Requirements

Fluent German (at least C1) and English (at least B1)
Successfully completed schooling (at least an intermediate school-leaving certificate)
Enthusiasm for IT, networks and digital technologies
Logical thinking and enjoyment of problem-solving
Enjoy working with people, open to new things and quick to grasp concepts
At least 18 years old at the start of the apprenticeship
