Description

Helsing, a defence AI company, is hiring a Systems Engineer for one of its land defence programmes, based across its Munich and Berlin offices. The role defines the system architecture and holds traceability from customer requirements through to software and hardware design. It runs integration, verification, validation, qualification, and certification, and acts as subject-matter expert on reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS). It requires delivered systems-engineering experience on defence programmes, fluency in German and English, and eligibility for security clearance.

Requirements

  • Delivered systems engineering on defence programmes, including architecture, requirements management, and integration
  • Guided a project team through technical delivery to agreed schedule, quality, and cost
  • Able to apply RAMS, verification, and certification practice to safety-critical systems
  • University degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Able to travel and to meet the requirements for security clearance under the relevant national law
