Description

Wooga, a Berlin-based Playtika studio and leader in Hidden Object Games (June's Journey), is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer for its New Games team on a one-year fixed-term contract. You will shape UX early to validate that new casual mobile free-to-play game concepts are intuitive, then take on UI design and production as prototypes move toward launch. The role covers UI screens, icons, flows, and design systems, plus 2D art for UI execution, working closely with artists, designers, product managers, and engineers. It requires strong UI craft, sharp UX instincts, and proficiency with Figma, Photoshop, and Unity.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry
  • Senior UI/UX experience in casual mobile free-to-play games
  • Strong UI design and execution skills with sharp UX instincts, able to shift between concept-stage UX validation and UI production
  • Solid grasp of onboarding, retention, and monetization-friendly design patterns
  • 2D art skills for UI execution (icons, popups, liveops screens, and supporting visuals)
  • A portfolio demonstrating UI production, UX validation, and supporting art
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Photoshop, as well as Unity for implementation and testing
  • Excellent communication skills
