Head of Risk
Description
Keyrock, a global digital-asset market maker and liquidity provider founded in 2017, is hiring a Head of Risk to own and develop the firm's risk function end-to-end. This senior leadership role designs, implements, and enforces a firm-wide quantitative risk framework across trading, treasury, and investments, spanning both traditional finance and crypto (CeFi and DeFi). Working closely with the COO and CIO, you will co-design the risk architecture, define risk appetite, and implement advanced risk metrics such as VaR and Expected Shortfall. The role is fully remote, based out of London with additional European hubs.
Requirements
- Strong quantitative risk management background with hands-on experience in market, credit, and liquidity risk modelling
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement risk models, including tail-risk estimation, scenario analysis, stress testing, and dependence modelling
- Proven experience designing or co-designing firm-wide risk systems in collaboration with technology and operations leaders
- Experience operating at the intersection of traditional financial markets and digital assets (CeFi and/or DeFi)
- Practical knowledge of crypto-specific risks (exchange/custodian, smart contract, protocol, funding/basis, collateral management)
