Simulation Engineer

Helsing is a defence AI company that uses simulation to train and test autonomy at scale before anything touches real hardware. As a Simulation Engineer you join a team that owns a system for simulating large-scale 3D worlds with hundreds of actors rendered in real time, working on the internals of the simulation stack including vehicle and actor modelling, sensor and environment simulation, networking and distributed-system interfaces. You write production code that shapes both the platform and the models running inside it, own the trade-off between fidelity, throughput and engineering cost, and validate results against subject-matter experts and downstream outcomes. The role suits engineers who have built real simulations with game engines such as Unreal, Unity or Godot and bring strong software-engineering practice to simulation work.
