Description

CHECK24, Germany's leading digital comparison platform, is building the next generation of individual-travel booking: an AI travel planner that guides customers in a chat from inspiration to a fully booked trip in a single flow. As a (Junior) Full Stack Developer for the Individualreisen (individual travel) product in Dusseldorf, you will work end-to-end across backend data logic, LLM services and their orchestration, and user-friendly frontend components. You will build intelligent features with large language models and agentic workflows while ensuring quality through strict typing, static analysis, and automated testing. The role suits an early-career developer with first full-stack experience, business-fluent German, and good English.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in a relevant field
  • First experience in full-stack web development, with an understanding of modern API development (e.g., type-safe APIs) and clean data and interface modeling
  • Interest in AI features with large language models and first exposure to agentic workflows
  • Confident use of AI-assisted development (LLMs and coding agents) with the relevant patterns, alongside solid own programming skills
  • Quality-conscious, solution-oriented, and independent working style with a growth mindset
  • Business-fluent German and good English
