Description

Amazon is hiring a Graduate Shift Manager for its logistics operations in the Berlin/Rostock area, starting with an 11-week internal onboarding programme that prepares graduates for a leadership role. After onboarding, the shift manager takes leadership responsibility for their own team of up to 100 associates, plans and controls in-house processes, and ensures customers receive their goods on time and in good quality. Responsibilities include enforcing occupational safety and environmental standards, deriving process improvements from KPIs such as safety, productivity and quality, and managing resources and workflows. The role works early, late or night shifts and collaborates closely with upstream and downstream departments and stakeholders. It sits within Amazon Logistics (AMZL), which handles last-mile delivery.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree before the start date, or a degree obtained within the last 24 months
  • Advanced English and German language skills, spoken and written
  • Relevant experience conducting data analyses
