Description

T-Systems is hiring a Principal IT Project Manager for its Digital Enabler business area, working across Berlin, Frankfurt, Biere, Bonn, Munich, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, and Düsseldorf, Germany. The role takes on strategic and operational management of complex software development, SAP, or transformation projects, managing C-level stakeholders and global teams using both classic and agile approaches. Responsibilities include owning strategically important major projects and programs, setting up project teams, managing scope and backlog, running risk management, and being responsible for delivery to customers, service providers, and management.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in IT or business
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project management of software development projects
  • Track record of successfully completed major projects and programs across various subject areas, including projects with 100+ employees and near/offshore components
  • Strong knowledge and extensive experience delivering complex software solutions using best-practice tools, technologies, and methods such as Scaled Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration
  • Solution-oriented approach to complex relationships and team dynamics, with a strong ability to transfer knowledge
  • Exceptionally good communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Experience preparing requirements analyses in complex agile projects, plus detailed knowledge of contract, risk, and claim management
  • Willingness and ability to travel; role is also available part-time
