The role owns corporate and macroeconomic topics, turning complex business and market developments into compelling, data-driven stories that position the company as a thought leader. It combines media relations, editorial planning, content creation (press releases, statements, opinion pieces) and stakeholder management with proactive reputation and risk monitoring. It suits a fintech, finance or startup communications professional and is a hybrid position with flexible hours and home office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR or journalism
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong background in the fintech, finance or high-growth startup scene
  • Proven ability to build trust and relationships with internal management and external partners
  • Highly analytical, able to turn data into newsworthy stories
  • Confident spokesperson with a proactive approach to press relationships and media pitching
  • Hands-on mentality to develop and implement new external communication formats from scratch
