Description

Helsing, a defence-AI company, is hiring an internal site and property security officer for its Munich location to help ensure the comprehensive physical security of its sites. The role monitors security infrastructure such as video surveillance, hazard-detection, alarm and access-control systems, assesses risks and incidents, and coordinates with police, fire and emergency services when needed. It also controls secure access for visitors and contractors, manages keys and access media, and supports the secure handling of classified materials. Work follows an employee-oriented shift model including night, weekend and public-holiday shifts, with above-scale pay and shift allowances. Solid practical experience in site or property protection or security services and very good German plus good English are required.

Requirements

  • Solid practical experience in property protection, site security, security services or a comparable security-critical environment
  • Experience handling and coordinating security incidents
  • Good technical understanding, able to operate security, alarm and access-control systems and perform first-level fault analysis
  • Very good German and good English to communicate with national and international service providers and internal teams
  • Interest in the requirements of handling classified materials and sensitive information
  • Ability to make quick, calm and reliable decisions under time pressure and in emergencies
  • Confidence operating within the regulatory requirements of physical security
