Description
A Technical Writer role on the Developer Experience (DevX) team at Talon.One, a promotion and loyalty SaaS company, based in Berlin. The writer creates and maintains end-user and developer documentation, API references and in-product UX copy, treating the docs as a product with their own roadmap and metrics. The role uses a docs-as-code stack including Git, GitHub, Docusaurus, Scalar and OpenAPI, and collaborates closely with engineers, product managers and designers. It suits a technical writer with API/SDK literacy and strong English communication skills.
Requirements
- Exceptional English communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, developer relations or UX copy
- Technical literacy including a solid grasp of APIs (REST/OpenAPI) or SDKs
- Product-oriented mindset to manage a documentation backlog and analyse metrics
- Expertise in crafting concise in-product microcopy
- In-depth understanding of modern documentation strategies (docs-as-code, minimalism, topic-oriented writing)
- Experience with the tool stack or equivalent: Git, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Docusaurus, Scalar and Figma
