Description

Moonfare, a Berlin-headquartered private-markets investment platform, is hiring a Fund Reporting Manager within Fund Operations to own and elevate its investor and fund reporting function. The role takes end-to-end ownership of how reports are produced, reviewed, and delivered, including quarterly investor reports, capital account statements, and ad hoc reporting. It builds quality-control and review processes, validates fund administrator outputs such as NAV calculations and capital-call notices, and acts as the primary contact for report queries. It also manages internal and external stakeholders, represents reporting in cross-functional projects, and guides analysts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in financial operations, fund administration, or investor/financial reporting within financial services, including owning or managing a reporting function at scale
  • Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Proven stakeholder management across fund administrators, auditors, Finance, Legal, and IR
  • Experience contributing to or leading cross-functional projects such as system or vendor migrations and new fund launches
  • Strong analytical rigour and high attention to detail
  • A process-improvement mindset, including automation and AI tooling with human-in-the-loop checkpoints
