Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to drive strategic safety improvements across its sites and at regional level. In this role you lead and develop your team, set the safety agenda and partner with senior leadership to embed a culture of safety and inclusion. You manage occupational safety standards, run risk assessments, and use internal reporting tools to inform safety-related decisions. The role is based at one of Amazon's logistics sites in North-Rhine-Westphalia.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification per the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)
Certification as an occupational safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, per §6 ASiG)
Knowledge of German occupational health and safety legislation
Relevant experience leading a team
Fluent German and very good English (B2), written and spoken
