Technical Product Marketing Manager - Germany
Description
Hornetsecurity is looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager with solid technical know-how and strong commercial understanding to sharpen its competitive positioning, core messaging and go-to-market materials across cloud email security, Microsoft 365 security, backup, data security, compliance and GRC. You analyze competitors, build competitive positioning, battlecards, objection-handling guides and differentiation concepts, and translate technical product features into commercially relevant value propositions. You work closely with product management, marketing and sales engineering to ensure consistent messaging and to enable sales teams. The role is based in Hannover with a home-office option and flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Solid technical understanding of cloud email security, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity architectures, backup, data security and modern threat protection
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, risk management, data protection, backup strategies, business continuity and regulatory requirements for enterprise IT and security teams
- Ability to analyze competitors and translate technical differences into clear, customer-relevant positioning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Ability to create high-quality marketing content, sales enablement materials and technical content for technical and commercial audiences
- Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, sales engineering and customer success
