Operations Engineer Intern (Field)
Description
A 3-to-6-month full-time engineering internship in Amazon Operations, based at one of several German fulfillment and delivery sites. Interns work on a real project supporting the engineering teams that maintain and optimize technologies across the Amazon warehouse and delivery network, from robotics and high-volume conveyance to small delivery stations. Work can include designing and improving fulfilment infrastructure, implementing integrated automation projects (high-speed sortation, conveyors, robotic work cells), training technicians in control-systems fault finding, and supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment. The internship is a management-track experience offering mentorship, learning sessions and a possible path to a graduate role.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken, written and read German
- Fluent spoken, written and read English, with the ability to take direction in English
- Able to work a minimum of 40 hours/week and commit to a 3-to-6-month internship
- Currently in your penultimate or final year of a university degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or Software) or a STEM subject
