AWS is seeking a German-speaking Solutions Architect for its World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Greenfield team to help new-to-cloud public sector customers across the UK, Germany and international organizations begin their AWS cloud journey. You serve as the primary technical point of contact, conducting discovery sessions in English and German, designing foundational cloud architectures and building trusted relationships that drive long-term adoption. You partner with Account Executives on territory planning and engagement strategies, run workshops and proof-of-concepts, and navigate German, EU and UK public sector procurement and compliance frameworks. The role blends technical cloud architecture work with proactive, customer-facing engagement.

Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written German
  • Experience within technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data and analytics
  • Experience in design, implementation or consulting of applications and infrastructures
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
