Description

Product Owner for an email security product squad at Hornetsecurity's headquarters in Hannover, a European cloud security provider. The role owns the product backlog, writes user stories and acceptance criteria and defines success metrics such as reliability, feature adoption and customer satisfaction. The Product Owner is the main point of contact between stakeholders and the squad, works with UX/UI designers and partners with support, security operations and legal teams. It is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a work-from-home option and flexible hours.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems or a related field
  • Experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product role for B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, email infrastructure or another technically complex software product
  • Ability to solve complex problems collaboratively and communicate decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Well organised, detail-oriented, autonomous, team-minded and responsible
  • Comfortable learning and discussing email security concepts such as phishing, malware, impersonation, spam, authentication protocols, mail flow, threat intelligence and detection trade-offs
  • Able to use Generative AI to prototype, automate routine tasks and improve speed and quality
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken
