Business Development Representative - SMB (German-speaking)
Description
Secfix, a Munich-based startup automating security and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, SOC 2) across Europe, is hiring a Business Development Representative to expand its SMB segment in the DACH region. Working alongside the Go-To-Market team, the BDR builds pipeline through high-volume, multi-channel outbound outreach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn) and hands qualified opportunities to Account Executives. The role emphasizes consistent daily activity, structured discovery and qualification calls, and clean CRM hygiene in HubSpot. It suits someone early in their sales career who wants to build a long-term career in sales through a performance-driven, high-ownership environment. Candidates need 1+ year of client-facing experience and strong German (C2) and English skills.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience (internship, working student, or full-time) in a fast-paced environment (startup, consulting, sales, business development, etc.), preferably in a client-facing role
- A completed commercial vocational training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or a Bachelor's degree
- A strong ownership mindset, taking responsibility for hitting targets
- Excellent German skills (C2 level) and strong English skills
- Confidence in cold calling and proactive outbound outreach
- High energy, persistence, and comfort with rejection
- A structured and disciplined working style
- A data-driven mindset and comfort working with KPIs
