As a Working Student in Data Science, you will join the CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Hotel GmbH to help make the hotel comparison even more customer-friendly and efficient. This role offers a unique mix of startup spirit and established market leadership, with short decision-making paths, agile processes, and a strong team. You will be involved in developing and optimizing AI and machine learning solutions, building data pipelines, and integrating modern large language models into products.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program with a scientific or technical focus (e.g., computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or physics)
  • First practical experience with Python and common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning and understanding of the data science lifecycle
  • Interest in modern AI technologies such as Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents
  • Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working with data and numbers
  • Self-responsible and solution-oriented way of working with a hands-on mentality
  • Good German language skills (at least B2)
