Description

As a working student in the CHECK24 Hotel team in Münster, you will develop software using AI-driven agentic coding practices. You will work directly on the hotel comparison product used by millions, taking ownership of features and learning modern AI-assisted development. The role combines the stability of an established market leader with the agility of a startup, offering hands-on experience in a small, agile team. You will collaborate with product management and other departments to deliver high-quality, performant backend services.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in a computer science-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Geoinformatics, Mathematics or comparable)
  • Programming skills in at least one object-oriented or script-based language, ideally PHP, but Java, Python, Go, C# etc. are also a good start
  • First experience in software or web development from university projects, internships, working student positions or private projects
  • Openness and enthusiasm for agentic coding: actively developing with AI tools such as LLMs, coding agents, and agentic workflows
  • Solid programming competence: understanding the code you develop, with AI agents as your toolbox
  • Interest in modern web technologies, object-oriented software development, large language models, and agentic workflows
  • Willingness to dive into complex systems and understand features end-to-end
  • Growth mindset: enjoyment in trying new tools and working methods in an environment that consistently uses AI
  • Tech drive and hands-on mentality: initiative, analytical thinking, and the ambition to bring tasks to completion
  • Good German language skills in written and spoken form (at least B2); English skills are an advantage
