Description
trivago, the Düsseldorf-based hotel search company, is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner within its Talent & Business Relations team. Acting as the trusted people partner for a group of business leads, you will advise on leadership, performance management, compensation, staffing, and organizational change. A distinctive part of the role is leading the HR integration of trivago's Israeli entity—onboarding its leadership into trivago's people processes and governing cross-entity people moves within the matrix. The role requires at least five years as an HR Business Partner, advanced knowledge of German labor law, project-management experience in international contexts, and fluent German (C1) and English. It is a senior, hybrid position based in Düsseldorf with relocation support.
Requirements
- Solid experience as an HR Business Partner (minimum 5 years), including advanced knowledge of German labor law and a track record of aligning HR strategy with business goals
- Project management experience, ideally in a cross-entity, matrixed, or international context, with the multitasking skills to run business partnering and cross-entity project work in parallel
- Fluent German (C1 level) and English (the company language)
- A genuine learning mindset with curiosity and openness to feedback
- A performance mindset with determination and resilience
- An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation
