Description

Superchat is a Berlin-based company that provides a unified inbox and AI-powered communication platform for over 10,000 businesses worldwide. As a Solution Engineer, you will be the technical counterpart for mid-market, enterprise, and integration partner accounts, translating customer needs into effective Superchat setups and ensuring successful API and integration projects. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams, acting as the technical authority that helps win deals and drive customer success. This is a hands-on role that requires building integrations, configuring complex automations, and providing technical guidance to customers and partners. You will also play a key role in shaping the role itself, improving documentation, and feeding customer feedback back to Product and Engineering.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building integrations against REST APIs, including webhooks, authentication, payloads, and debugging failed calls.
  • Ability to read and understand code, follow logic, and pinpoint issues, without necessarily shipping production code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, solving issues from genuine understanding rather than just using AI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to speak with engineers and business stakeholders in their respective languages, including commercial context.
  • Professional communication in both German and English.
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic about customer-facing calls, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Builder mentality, comfortable with an undefined role and proactive in building processes.
