Description

This role requires comprehensive expertise in access and security technologies, Linux operating systems, and interface technologies related to access and security services. The position ensures compliance for Vodafone markets by using control applications to monitor, grant, or revoke access to specific platforms. The purpose is to maintain high availability and reliability of applications and infrastructure, support business continuity including 24/7 on-call support, and contribute to continuous improvement. The role ensures the integrity, security, and scalability of user platform access control on critical systems, safeguarding Vodafone's operational continuity and compliance posture. The Platform Control Manager ensures compliance, operational resilience, and seamless integration between business and technology domains.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Linux operating systems administration including file systems, permissions, and process management
  • Knowledge of access and security programs and services running within VCI
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL, GDPR, and SOX
  • Degree in IT (any) or 5 years of experience in enterprise IT, Cloud, and UNIX environments
  • Knowledge of Security & Access Services technologies and products
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Exposure to system monitoring tools and log analysis
  • Experience in handling support tickets and following escalation procedures
  • Knowledge of system hardening, patching, and compliance standards
  • Fluency in English in speaking, reading, and writing
