Description
Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, giving businesses unified visibility across the technology stack. As Key Accounts Executive, you will target and close new business within the largest, most strategic Fortune 100 prospects, uncovering pain points as they operate in or migrate to cloud environments at scale. You will develop an outbound prospecting strategy, drive a multi-threaded sales motion across stakeholders and product suites, cross-sell into complex accounts, and negotiate favorable pricing and terms with large commercial enterprises. The role operates in a hybrid workplace and requires significant travel to client sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years Enterprise Sales experience selling into Fortune 100 companies with the ability to win new logos
- Track record of meeting/exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+ with an average deal size of $100k+
- Demonstrated methodology to prospect and build pipeline independently
- Experience working for an innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure, or similar preferred)
- Self-starter mindset, resourceful, coachable, and willing to adapt sales motion
- Able to sit up to 4 hours traveling to and from client sites
- Able to travel via auto, train, or air up to 70% of the time
